However the company McLaren's Bay Mica Stone Quarries has been the operating company for over 40 years:

This is a family owned business, and the current families have operated for the past 35 years. 

For the first 30 years the company has concentrated primarily on marketing landscape and building stone, but now management has been taking new directions.

Since taking over management of the quarry around 2001, Wayne Borer has invested a great deal of time and money into diversifying the business. Leaving us with a legacy.

Wayne's vision was  not just far reaching, but rather he had unlimited scope of vision for this company and it's future products. He diversified the company and took it in many new directions in a short period of time.

Now one of our main customers is a FORTUNE 100, and we supply them with vast quantities of stone.  We have always been  in the landscape and building stone business, but are now diversifying into even more areas, each of which seems to be able to create it's own self-supporting markets.
