McLaren's Bay Mica Stone, looking to expand into the Asian marketplace

We have found the market in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan to be ripe for entry.  Even the aquarium stone business alone is starving for our products. The region's economy is growing at a blinding speed, and products such as  monuments, building stone, and other market segments have been identified

MAYOR'S 'STATE OF THE UNION'

Mayer Fedeli talks about Northern Ontario:

The Mayor of North Bay, His Worship Mr. Vic Fedeli, has put it very clearly about doing business in Northern Ontario:

'ANYBODY WHO ISN'T MAKING MONEY,
IS DOING SOMETHING WRONG!'

The Northern Ontario region, in particular North Bay region is a great place to do business. Superb transportation hub, Internet data fibre optic lines are abundant, one of 4 airports in Canada that can land the world's largest aircraft, Hwy 11 being widened to 4 lanes, clean water & air, natural resources in abundance, inexpensive land, government grants and loans to expand your business with research and development...what more could a corporation look for when considering expansion?

Our business is stone...
                     ...and business is good!

STOP!  Before we go any further, we must explain something about our amazing stone.

While almost magical in appearance it is nearly impossible to capture the rare beauty on film.

It is like an elusive vampire or ghost in a story, something which nobody can take a good photograph of.  It just can't be done!   MICA STONE PHOTOS

So while you are navigating our website, please keep in mind it is next to impossible to photograph our stone properly.  The fancy surfaces sparkle like a million diamonds in the sun, but in photographs you cannot properly see these wonderful optics.

Only in person can you truly experience the wondrous and overwhelming beauty that is McLaren's Bay Mica Stone!

Contact us for a sample order since 'You Must See To Believe' this amazing natural stone, and dream of it's applications and uses.

OUR PRODUCTS:

We have 5 main colours available consisting of SEA MIST GREEN (Aventurine Verde), SUNSET RED (Aventurina Rosso), BLACK SATIN (Aventurina Nero) GREEN OLIVE (Verde Oliva), BLACK OLIVE (Nero Oliva). There are a variety of ranges in these colours, as well some new colours we have found which have not yet been marketed.  The location is a geological phenomenon.  From about 40 years experience with this stone, we have determined that in all the world the SUNSET RED colour is found only exclusively at our quarry.  This makes some of our stone more rare than gold, platinum, and diamonds combined ... despite this rarity we do not gouge the market with high prices, and have an almost never ending supply of product.

THE GEOLOGY:

Our quarry is situated within one of the oldest surfaces on the planet.  The stone was formed over 3 billion years ago by heat, pressure and a variety of trace elements, and the surface was polished by glaciers over many millennia. The main photo of the lake (above) is taken a mere 300 feet from where we mine. We only surface mine, and do not destroy the environment, but in fact we embrace it with a love for nature.

The stone varies in colour throughout the quarry in shades of red, green and black. The stone is a semi-precious AVENTURINE stone being a mica-quartzite-granite mix.

To add to the beauty and interest of this rock, it sometimes comes studded with hematite, tourmaline, or garnet. As well some rare crystals are commonly found. In many areas the rock is gnarled with quartz or feldspar layers, giving it a unique and impressive twist. Not only is the rock beautiful to look at, it is durable as a building and landscape stone. The mica platelets make it resistant to algae and moss and this aspect makes it especially attractive for water features and aquarium use.
